This program lets you record your audio, convert the audio to Flash format and see the result in a web page. You have to manually upload the files, but the recording and conversion is all done in the software.

Best For Websites without FTP

The following programs are great web audio solutions if you own a site where you don't have FTP permission, or have limited ability to upload files.

AudioGenerator / Instant Audio
The owners host your Flash audio on their servers, and all you do is put a snippet of HTML code into your web page. No uploading or FTP procedures are involved.

Auction Audio
Primarily a service for putting web audio on auction sites such as Ebay. They provide a message that is up to 60 seconds long, copy editing suggestions, mixing with background music (if you want it), 30 days storage on their servers, and an "immediate" start link for your page. Price is dependent on price of item being sold.

Instant Web Audio
You record a 3 minute message by phone and have it converted into Real Audio format for $19. They host the web audio on their servers and provide you with the HTML to link to it. $19 for up to 3 minutes. Longer lengths available.

Voice on Site
You choose the professional voice for your message, prepare your script and pick the style in which you would like it read. They record the message, encode it and and save on their servers. You add a simple HTML link on your site to the message. A 60-second message can be recorded, encoded, stored and streamed for under $50. A 5-minute recording costs under $175.

YouSpeak
YouSpeak is a phone-to-web solution similar to Audio Generator / Instant Audio but at a lower price point. YouSpeak uses Javascript to play your audio that is stored on their servers. You call their special phone number, and record your message like voicemail. The system then generates the necessary code for you to include on your site. Three levels of service are available at $7/month, $17/month, and $95/month.
